About

Systems architect and creative technologist with over two decades of experience in software engineering.

Originally from Costa Rica, I design and build complex systems — from immersive VR installations exhibited at international venues to cloud platforms serving thousands of visitors. My work sits at the intersection of engineering and art: real-time graphics, computer vision, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.

Currently consulting for -naut (Zürich) as systems architect and senior full-stack developer, building and maintaining the BRDGE Journey data platform, museum installations, event apps, and AWS infrastructure.

Active contributor to the vvvv creative coding community as a library author, educator, and event host. Primary author and maintainer of VL.OpenCV since 2017.
